I saw that this morning, maybe
I'll try a duck this year.

  • There was an episode a year or two ago where Phil and Si pull out an ancient charcoal grill (not BGE) to try to cook some ribs. They made a big deal out of how Phil hadn't grilled anything in years. Near the end, they show Phil and Si filling the grill with briquettes, dousing it with lighter fluid, and then throwing the ribs directly over the raging fire.

I'm guessing the BGE is a sponsored product placement. Sadly, it just shows how fake reality tv shows are.

I'm pretty sure I saw a Komado Joe on the main old guy's porch in a recent episode.

It does look like the egg is a promo item since it is sitting in a conference room.

Which came first the chicken or the egg?  I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

Probably no more than movies... A coke can here.... A Ford or Chevy there. Let's face it.. There is no reality TV. You're going to act differently with a camera in your face. Look at the porn industry.. =))

  • I truly beleive that neither Phil or Sy wount know what to do with a Egg or for that matter any BBQ I think that Miss K does all the cooking

  • Phil did have a kamado joe on his porch in an episode. I'm sure he knows how to grill.

That show doesn't appeal to me.  There's the milf factor...but still not worth it.

  • I will continue to watch BBQ Pitmasters rerunds instead of getting wrapped up in a show where the egg is sitting in a corner. This show does nothing for my taste buds :)

  • I'm really glad to hear I'm not the only one not interested in the show.  Just about everybody I know had their dvr filled with this show.
