Boston butt smoked with sassafras
That's right sassafras. I picked some up at a kamado dealer and I really like it. Done a turbo butt with the sassafras chunks mixed throughout the Ozark oak lump. Rubbed with a mixture of red eye express and oakridge secret weapon. Foiled @ 160 and FTC @ 195. The whole cook took 4 hours 20 minutes. I can't remember ever having one any better.
