Had 1 lb. of ground beef and 3/4 lb of shredded pork thawing. Wanted 4 burgers for tonight's dinner. Decided to combine meats. I finely cut up the pork, placed it back in the freezer ziplock, added about 1.5 TBLS of applejuice concentrate, sealed the bag, and reheated in boiling water.
Upon reheating I combined the meats, added some dizzy dust, and formed some patties. Cooked at 400 degrees direct with a hint of hickory smoke. This was really good! Definitely will be doing some variation of this again.
