Got back from the wife's annual reunion in Savannah - Great time. We stayed downtown and were able to eat at some of the local haunts that we haven't tried in the past many years. Had dinner at the Pink House - Just as I thought - highly overrated. Had the worst service and steak in my life and walked out of the door 3 hrs later (yes 3) $60 a head poorer. Enough said. Couldn't wait to fire up the egg for a quality steak. I experimented with some beans that came out really well over direct heat. I guess that cooking on the egg has made us all discriminating food critics and so it should. I made the bean basket from a $2 mesh that I found at Publix - worked very well.
