Halibut cook time ?

Got some local fresh halibut today.im going to cook it directly on the grid raised at 400 how long should u cook it?

    It will depend on the thickness. I cook mine to about 135 Temp or until it flakes. ;;)

    I cook by feel and looks, you just don't want to over cook that gorgeous piece of fish. When they flake they are done.

    Looks good, man. 
    Never done halibut on the grill (gasser, kettle or egg). Always deep fry it with a beer batter, English style fish and chips. Must give it a go, thanks for sharing.
