Just ordered the BBQ Guru PartyQ.
I just got the swing rack last week - I should be all geared up before the end of summer, which will be perfect, since I intend to be Egging all winter long anyways!
For all you longtime Eggers, what gear makes up your core necessities and what is nice to have gear.

I use the Adjustable Rig and butane weed burner all the time.

I am just getting going myself but I use bricks for raised direct and my torch to light my baby. Thermapen is a must.

Thanks all. I have a butane weed burner - love it! Also have heat displacer and 14 bags of charcoal (stocking up for winter - buy @ costco @ $12 a bag).
No Thermapen as yet - use a Maverick ET 732 for low and slow and a cheap 5 second fork for steaks and chicken. Its on my list though.
Yzzi - why the welding gloves?
