I just received my replacement Rutland gasket, but not sure if it is the correct one? I remember it should be gray in color? This is all black? Model # 95-6 5/8" 7' long. Is thus correct for a large?

Can't tell from the picture, if it's the flat gasket, it's good. If it's the rope gasket, you probably don't want it. Also, that adhesive hasn't been very popular in discussions. The best is Permatex Ultra Copper, available at any auto parts store.John in the Willamette Valley of Oregon

Here is an out of the box pic. Appears to be flat. I have the Permatex Ultra Copper arriving in another shipment, unfortunately they did not arrive together. I was hoping to install this weekend. If it ain't a CAT, it's a dog!!! 2 LBGE's & BGE Backyard Chef Edition Cart

Yes that is the correct gasket. Rutland calls it black because it is covered with black graphite. The gasket material itself is quite light and even shiny, so what may appear to one person as black it is gray or silver to another.Re-gasketing America one yard at a time.

This is what mine looks like...it's a few months old. It looked almost black before I put it on. Perhaps the graphite shakes off the outside after a while. I know the underlying fiberglass is white.
