Hey all. I need some help here. We just did our first big "cleanse"....high temp etc. Honestly the crustiness of the egg has never been an issue with us so it was kind of an afterthought after a cook, like "why don't we open it up and clean it?".
The new gasket we just put on got toasted. That's not that big of a deal, however, we definitely saw a change in the way the lid reacted. It doesn't feel like it is stable in the up position. My husband tightened all the bands, etc, and it got better, but it still was not as locked in as it used to be, as far as staying in the UP position.
Is this a spring issue? Please advise.
