Hobo side

Well, pictures or it didn't happen but it did, it's just that they were so good that they are all gone.  We do hobo packages often which is a layer of potatoes, onions, hamburger patty topped with butter wrapped in foil.  Tonight we left off the hamburger and put the packets on the egg while the butt was resting.  When the potatoes were done we topped them with 3 cheese blend of cheddar.  All gone and the butt was pretty good too.  Saturday is pulled pork pizza with Joan's pizza crust recipe.  More good eats.  Happy 4th.......

  • Nice! I can handle something like this.

How long and how hot? Indirect?

Thanks. I was cooking the butt indirect at 325. It took the package about an hour. It could be cooked direct on a raised grate also. It's nothing fancy, just simple and easy.
