XL Dome Adjustment

My XL dome is a bit off-center and failed the dollar bill test in various places between 10 and 2. I thought it might be a good idea to adjust it before I throw the ribs on tomorrow AM.

I found a YouTube video (from another foeum post) and have watched it a few times; however I'm not clear if I need to loosen all eight bolts or just the four on the upper band. The dome primarily needs adjustment side to side, with a very small adjustment front to back.

I found that the dome adjustment section of this manual was a big help when adj. the XL's dome after replacing the gasket.

I completely loosened the cinch bolt on the top band, then nudged the dome where I wanted it.  I then checked (and adjusted) the top to bottom band distance at 4 points and tighten it up.  My gasket seal is really tight all around.  Only takes a few minutes
