I got a damaged gasket on my small already. Does the gasket come as a one piece deal (felt with glue on it) or is glue separate. One of the hinges was bent in at the back and gouged a piece out. Is it possible to cut out a 2" piece and replace it or have to do whole thing? Thanks. Gord

g-o,[p]If you get the one from BGE it is in a roll with a sticky edge. You can certainly cut a piece to fit the booboo.[p]Tim

    g-o,
The self-adhesive stuff BGE sells is easy to put on. I had to replace a 15" section of the dome gasket that I had improperly installed. When you do have to replace gasket, some or all of it, Make sure none of the new stuff sticks out into the interior of the Egg. It will fry even at relatively low temps.
