ABTs... why did I wait so long??

So I finally got around to making some ABTs, why did I ever wait so long to try them?? Deee-lish-us!!! A good friend gave us some freshly grown jalapenos. I sliced 'em in half and filled them with a mix of cream cheese, store bought shredded "mexican cheese", and a pinch of "slap yo momma" seasoning. 

They cooked indirect (with some smoke) on the egg for about 45 min @ 250-350. The last half of the cook I threw on some steaks to get a kiss of smoke before pulling the ABTs off and raising the egg to sear. They were great!

    Where do you live?  I can't wait for my Jalapenos to come in so I can make my own. We are nowhere close yet in IN.  Show some pics of the finished product next time!
