Beef jerky advice?

I found myself with a lot of hours stuck in the house a few years back and made a few batches of beef jerky in the oven. It came out really good but I can't help but think how much better it would be on the egg. Any advice on cures? Marinades? Egg setup to maximize space? I had used flank steak, but open to recommendations for other cuts! Thanks in advance!

  • Was surfing the forum for the same advice…I hope you're still not waiting lol.  But maybe when I bump this up someone might have some insight. Hoping to find a wet cure recipe.

    I recommend getting Wise One's cookbook.  It has plenty of recipes and is a real gem for both new and experienced cooks.  There are also years of eggfest recipes there for download.
