We hope you all got to celebrate those tasty food holidays last week, we sure enjoyed them! We are even more excited about the beginning of fall, for so many reasons, but mainly for experiencing the cool, crisp air while being outside cooking up the best recipes the season has to offer. Saw a recipe called a meatzza and fulfilling Murphy's first law of lost recipes, I could not find it.   So i did the next best thing...improvise.
Fired up the mini and grilled yellow squash, onion and Anaheim pepper.  
Seasoned the grass feed hamburger meat and pressed out to form a "crust".  Placed on a foil lined pizza screen and then on the mini.
Browned on 1 side then flipped (that was a feat) and placed on the CI comal.
Added the refried beans (leftovers from last nites pot)
Added the veggies
The cheese
To the table
