Two butts and a shoulder

Late post if weekend cook. Had 50 people over for an end of the school year event. Total clean out then hand stacked BGE LUMP. Put #30 of pork on the egg at 930pm CST Friday at 300 dome. Rubbed with maple flavor grill mates. Watched it till midnight then went to bed. 6am it was at 275,bumped it up again to 300. Kept it at 300 till 2pm when the meat hit 205 IT by thermapen. FTC till 6pm serving. It was amazing. Also added some Brats...Sides: baked beans, NOLA style cabbage, cornbread, Mac n cheese.
Got rave reviews. May have sold an Egg or two...,

    Very nice!  The bark on those butts looks amazing.  Don't you just love it when a plan comes together perfectly?  It is so nice to have 30 lbs of meat staying happy in the cooler 4 hours before the guest even arrive. 


    Which came first the chicken or the egg?  I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

    Well, "spa-Peggy" is kind of like spaghetti. I'm not sure what Peggy does different, if anything. But it's the one dish she's kind of made her own.
