Ginger-Miso Red Snapper in a Shiitake Mushroom broth

An earlier post today indicated that blackened fish is the best way to cook fish.
I think there are other ways also.  To only cook one way would get boring after a while.

Prepped with aka-miso, ginger, vegetable oil, and panko.

Grilled on a comal.

Plated with shiitake mushroom broth, made of water, shiitake, and aka-miso.

Accompanied with a bok choy, mandarin orange, balsamic vinegariette.

Dripping Springs, Texas.

Absolutely beautiful. Zen-like in its simplicity. I love the muted lighting of the plated shots. Everything looks terrific.

Dang-another fantastic cook and presentation enhanced by the food magazine quality photos!! Meanwhile the rest of us pedestrians can only wish for such culinary expertise and then recognize the futility of such thoughts.  Well-done!
