I have buddy of mine that is looking to sell his 5-6 year old large egg. Comes complete with nest, grate, defector, daisy wheel etc. What do y'all think is a fair price?

If I was you, I'd offer him $350. Are you excited about getting your 2nd large?Just a hack that makes some $hitty BBQ....

Camera is gonna cost you a hundred bucks, thats the first thing you need, take that away from the four hundred -- lookin at $300 for the egg deal!!

Where are you located? The price probably differs depending on locale.-Jody Newell (LBGE & a 36" Blackstone griddle).

500 would be fair for both parties I thinkLBGE, Weber OTG w/ Rotisserie, Weber Genesis S-330, Chargriller Duo, AR-15, AK-47
-
I already have a camera, so i can go $400.00 ?

This site may give you some additional ideas-slightly dated. YMMV-
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. -
I need to come across a deal
-
Totally depends on where you are. $400-450 would be the range I think would be fair around here.
LBGE
Cedar table w/granite top
Ceramic Grillworks two-tier swing rack
Perpetual cooler of ice-cold beer

Agree, I'm thinking $450 or so would be the right price considering the person wouldn't get it with a warranty.-Jody Newell (LBGE & a 36" Blackstone griddle).

First post here!
I got my LBGE and table fore $300 off craigslist. I had to replace the gasket and the hinge and buy a platesetter but I thought it was a good deal.
Post a wanted ad on craigslist. That's what I did and after about a month I finally got a hit and bought it.

A lot depends on whether the the defector is a commie or American :P
All kidding aside what Travis said is about right.

I bought a medium with the same equipment for $240.00 in this same area...
