We hope everyone enjoyed their Fourth of July weekend and is excited for more warm weather grilling! This week, we’ll be making these two burgers: Stuffed Portobello Mushroom and Caribbean Chicken, and also eating lots of these Ice Cream Sandwiches in honor of National Ice Cream Month! Wood fired pizza

Kids decided on pizza for dinner. Time to fire up the egg.
Temp to 525, toasted the dough for 7 minutes the pulled off to add the toppings. Started off with a stuffed crust cheese for the kids. Rolled cheese sticks around the edges, let the kids layer the sauce and pile on the cheese. Slid it back on for 8 mins and let the cheese bubble.
Next up was the pepperoni. Didn't toast the dough on this one. Layered mozzarella and cheddar over the pepperoni slices. The kids had fun designing their pie. Slid on for 18 minutes.
The last was a Chicken Bacon Ranch. Toasted the dough for 7 minutes. Spread the Ranch dressing on the dough then layered the shredded chicken, bacon pieces and mozzarella. Added some onion and cheddar to my side, then slid back on the grill for 9 mins. The egg held the temp perfectly.
All I can say is WOW! By far the best pizza we've ever had.
