multi grid cook question - on cgs rig

i have purchased the cgs customer combo with 13.5" stone and spider. I have about 20 people coming over next weekend, so i wanted to have enough meat for everyone. I was thinking of doing a packer brisket and a bone in butt. I'm just worried that (a) the brisket will be extending past where the stone provides coverage and (b) with the spider set-up, i won't be able to fill the egg with as much lump as i'd normally do for an overnighter. Has anyone tried a multi level cook using the spider set up to cook a brisket and but simultaneously? If so, any advice to address my concerns?

I might suggest to mitigate the small stone diameter to some degree with a drip pan that is 'brisket big', eh? Put some spacers between it and the stone to keep it from smoking.
