You guys are going to rough me up a bit because I didn't take a photo.
I went to the local asparagus farm today and the guy said it was the best of the year ! Fat and juicy with no tough ends. Went for a walk out back and found a couple dozen morals! So, made a Caesar salad with home smoked bacon, then a nice strip loin down on the coals (use a small grill that sits on the coals, fried the morals in butter and served with the asparagus! Couple glasses of cab/sauvignon and it was one of the best meals of the year! I love my LBGE! very sorry about the lack of pics.
