Talapia Tacos

So something a little different for me tonight. We wanted something somewhat lighter than my normal eggin food.
We went to Fresh Market and picked up the Talapia along with the rest of the fixins
I used this recipe as a base but mixed it up a bit. I skipped the original marinade and used the salsa instead.
Here us the salsa getting happy on the gasser. I know, I know.

The fish on the egg just so I don't loose all credibility by starting off with the gasser


And the finished taco topped with white cabbage,green onions,avocados and cheese



Turned out good enough the wiff said she would eat it again!!!

Looks great.  Did you like the tilapia?  I usually use Mahi for fish tacos but I've been tempted to try tilapia

This is the first time I have done Tacos so I went with a fish I have had good luck cooking before but I was very happy with the way it turned out. Mahi will be next. What is your recipe for Mahi tacos?
