The store had a sale on monstrous ribeyes.  These were each just short of three pounds.  We each ate just the tenderloin, cutting the remainder of one to split for lunch and leaving the rest for our daughter as leftovers.

Done direct at 400 on a raised grid.

XLBGE X 2, LBGE (gave this one to my daughter), MBGE and lots of toys

    I have seen these cuts called "cowboy rib eyes" here in Houston area. They are prefect for the reverse sear method.

    Holy Cow that is one good looking cook.  We just finished splitting a ribeye, but I could fork and knife that.
