    If you buy pre-corned beef, soak it overnight before cooking (unless you're gonna boil it).  The one's I've bought were salty.  Typically they're boiled and that pulls the salt level down to edible.

    Eat whatever you want including a Texas brisket, Asian stir fry or Korean wings, as long as the beer is green, you are good to go!
