Gasket Question

So the part of the gasket in the back where both pieces the end meets the front has come off away from the bowl part. THe gasket isn't melted or anything just came away from the bowl part. What's the best solution to fix?

You can glue it back down with high heat sealant. You may not get as good of a seal, since the gasket isn't new. Can't hurt to try.

My Rutland has come loose in the hinged area afdter two and a half years, and it is probably due to a misaliegnment of the two ceramic surfaces. The gasket is still intact, and i have re-glued it down which lasted a few months. I intend on replacing it when and if(?) it gets worse?
