We hope everyone enjoyed their Fourth of July weekend and is excited for more warm weather grilling! This week, we’ll be making these two burgers: Stuffed Portobello Mushroom and Caribbean Chicken, and also eating lots of these Ice Cream Sandwiches in honor of National Ice Cream Month! Did eight whole wings this weekend. Started off with a light coating of Pam cooking spray on both sides. Dusted with Jack's Old South general rub. Went raised direct on the AR dome temp at three hundred with some Jack Daniels smoking chips (no I didn't soak them) on top of the coals. Cooked for half hour then sauced with the Chicken Glaze recipe, also from Jack's. Flipped then cooked for another half hour and sauced again. Bumped temp to 400 then moved to lowest setting on AR for five minutes each side. The result was amazing, great tasting wings with crispy sticky skin and great taste.
