We are visiting some friends in Huntsville al and they are looking for some new furniture. So they went to this furniture store in Tennessee that also sold BGE. Let me just say if I had a truck I probably woulda came home with egg #2. Large egg with nest and plate setter was $899. Minus $150 if you didn't want the nest.

Well I paid $850 for my large with no
accessories so I thought it was pretty good. They live in Athens al and we are from mobile.

Lighting Plus in tuscaloosa sells naked larges every day for under 700$.  I paid right around 700$ for mine and a plate setter.

Not trying to be a jerk, just informative.  The key to purchasing an egg fairly priced is shopping around.

If you make the 1 hour drive to Pensacola Escambia electric motor company sells the large for $629. Cheapest price I've heard for a new egg.

It must be nice to be able to say "roll tide" right now. Kinda like it was great to say "Go Big Red" in the mid to late ninety's for me.  Hopefully you find a decent priced new egg.
