Big Green Egg - EGGhead Forum - The Ultimate Cooking Experience...
We hope everyone enjoyed their Fourth of July weekend and is excited for more warm weather grilling! This week, we’ll be making these two burgers: Stuffed Portobello Mushroom and Caribbean Chicken, and also eating lots of these Ice Cream Sandwiches in honor of National Ice Cream Month! It's time to think about getting out to one of the many #EGGfests around the country - see a list here

Low-call cook

Like many, I am trying to loose weight, and I've always found grilling to be a great tool. I'm following a modified paleo/Atkins version, so ground beef is OK but buns are not. Yesterday I made some Vietnamese stuffed grape leaves. When I ran out of leaves, I just cooked meat balls. I'll eat these for lunch with mint, basil, carrot and cucumber shreds all rolled up in a lettuce leaf with nuoc cham.

Great alternative to the "common burger". We often go with a burger done by whatever is your "normal" method. Served with salad and raw veggies. The veggies will give you a felling of being full, while the protein in the burger gives your digestion something to work on.

    Like the grape leaf idea....
