My wife got me one from sur la table- it is really thick and solid. Used it last night and it worked very well- it has some kind of polished surface so not as porous as some. So may not pull out as much moisture but I didn't have any issues with it and pizzas came off easilyGreensboro, NC

Old Stone brand works well - had mine for years through lots of pizzas on egg and in oven. Williams Sonoma, Sur La Table and Chef Central (in Westchester if your near there) carry them.Mamaroneck
