Canadian Bacon Question

I have a 3 pound pork loin am using to make canadian bacon . Was wondering if i added some brown sugar to the brine for sweetness if anyone knows if that well affect the standard brine at all ?

    Not a problem.  I always add maple sugar to the standard brine and it comes out perfect.

    I added brown sugar to my last couple of batches, they came out great.
