Hi-Que on the Mini

Does anyone have one? I find that I need to clean the mini out before every cook to get to 400 degrees or so. Would this allow me to just use the ash tool, instead?

    I use the ash tool on the far right for the Mini and not each time.

    Also I have one on each of the Minis and the Large. Had one on the Small I sold: they are very good.


    Salado TX Egg Family: 2 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max (I'm good for now).

    Thanks, Mickey. I don't mind taking all the charcoal out of the mini and thoroughly cleaning in good weather, but I'm seeing problems in the cold months ahead. This might solve my problem.

    I can go 4 + cooks no cleaning , with 2 to 3 fills. I will take a stick and clear a path on the bottom through the draft door so air can travel in then I'm fine. No ash tool I do a strip down and sweep out for cleanings.
