Here is a setup I recently did for a bird about that size.  It was my first try & turned out great!
Have fun, your bird will be fantastic!

Here's another option that yields great results-spatchcock the bird-check out the below site for all you need to know-

http://www.fredsmusicandbbq.com/category_s/759.htm  BTW-Mickey is the spatchcock turkey eggspert and likely will wiegh-in soon. And this technique is translatable to anything roaming around yards-like chix, quail, hens etc- another worthwhile link-

Not eggspert but cooked a bunch. Spatchcock direct RAISED ( never turn) at 375/400. If time and think about it uncovered in fridge overnight. I like coffee rub (pic one you like). This is about 75+\- cook and I like the smaller birds like you picked. If I can help call me 254.289.1877 Photobucket Pictures, Images and Photos

Never cooked one in a pan. Have cooked one indirect with place setter legs up, a pan to collect the drippings (sitting on 3 green feet on placesetter), grate resting on placesetter and turkey sitting on grate.

Have also cooked one beer can style using a Fosters beer can. Once again, placesetter legs up, fashioned a lil pan using aluminum foill to collect juices and can sitting directly on placesstter.
