Gasket Replacement - Top Dome Sitting Further Than Base

Hi Guys,

I finally got around to replacing my gasket with the nomex replacement the dealer gave me, however now that I have it installed and its all shiny and new I notice that my lid is sitting about a quarter of an inch behind the base, is that normal or should it be flush all the way around?  If not which bolts do I adjust to shimmey the lid forward, I will take a photo tomorrow when I have some light.  I also lined the ceramic cap with left over gasket which fits absolutely snug, loving that hopefully that will save me some lump. I didn't use the gasket on the base though as some have directed, hope thats alright.

My Egg just ends up with about 1/4" overbite. Meaning the dome sits 1/4" too far back.
