I want to thank everyone who chimed in a few weeks ago when I asked for suggestions from BGE owners on accompaniments for Eggs. We now have our two most requested items in stock--Dizzy Pig Rubs and Wicked
Good Charcoal.
Seven of Dizzy Pig's eight rubs are in stock in our Norcross and Dunwoody Village stores with the final one (Cow Lick) promised to us
Monday. Several of their rubs and WG lump are in our other 3 stores.[p]I am hopefull that we will add the V-rack, grill extender, grill gripper/lifter, and BGE wood chips next week to Dunwoody and Norcross.[p]I will also be looking for a source of new wood chunks.

    grillnut at Norcross Ace Hardware,
Here is a suggestion......get up early Saturday morning around 3 a.m. and put a small pork butt on there in front of your store. The smell alone once you open will drive the customers to purchase a BGE. Then I'll be over to buy a few bags of WGC when the pork is done! :-)[p]

    grillnut at Norcross Ace Hardware,
Look in the recipe section under pork and Read Elder Wards two part program. Have done several, in fact one on the grill right now, they turn out fantastic.

  • WVU_EGG,
That sounds like a great idea! I may try that next Saturday
if I can get someone from the store to come help me load
my large egg with its freshly stained table in my truck.
Being green, I want to do a trial run at home myself.[p]You may have a point on the sales end. We've had more success selling charcoal and plate setters than eggs.[p]My apologies for taking so long to answer you. I usually
post messages in the early morning before going to work for
10 hours, then my son's T-ball game, followed by some brats
on the egg after the kids bedtime.[p]Grillnut at Ace[p]

  • MasterMason,
