Went to Myers and pineapple juce (not from concentrate only). Like better than the coke.
Salado TX & 30A  FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Plus a couple Pit Boss Pellet Smokers.

I don't like using my chimney starter. It is more trouble than just starting the fire in the Egg's firebox.

I usually put a few lumps in the microwave, then squirt some charcoal starter in the side vent.

So when everyone lights the "oil soaked paper towel" do you use wooden matches, regular match or lighter?

And even, "Should I have a flame-retardant deck for my egg's space"?  given the above picture.... YES!

That's a really cool table - I've seen that "torched wood" technique used before, usually to highlight the grain of the wood - never seen it used quite like you have though - very unique!!
Don't get set into one form, adapt it and build your own, and let it grow, be like water. Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless — like water. Now you put water in a cup, it becomes the cup... Now water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend. - Bruce Lee

I kept reading people say if they could change anything about their table it would have front access to remove the egg.

Well I'd say you've succeeded on that front =))

The Smoke Ring stops forming at 140, but the smoke will flavor the meat throughout the cook...

Which came first the chicken or the egg?  I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

I like to use a nice starter cube to get that towel roaring with flame...
But how do you light the starter cube?  My favorite way is to use a torch to light the starter cube, cuz it gets it going REAL good so that the cube can catch the paper towel on fire!!
