I brought home the new medBGE last night so was anxious to get my cook on. I went with pizza, abts, and grilled peaches. Pizza was really good. Grilled chicken, sun dried tomatoes, feta, olive oil, fresh basil, spinach and mozz cheese on 1/2. The other 1/2 pepperoni, bacon, grilled chicken, red sauce and mozz. The abts were awesome-cream cheese and bacon for 1/2 and sharp cheddar and bacon for the others. I'm totally hooked! The grilled peaches were just barely so-so. We didn't care for the smoked flavor. Did I do something wrong with that? I followed a recipe from the forum. May be just that is the nature of BGE lump. I've heard others-Nature's Own, is not as smoky. Might try again with that. Do breads and pies ALL taste smoky when cooked on grill?
