Ok so my low and slow 16lbs of pork shoulder turned into a turbo cook, oh well still tastes amazing. Anyway I have it foiled, toweled and in a cooler, dinner is not supposed to be for another 5 hours and it have been in the cooler for two already. The cooler is sitting in the sun on what is supposed to be a 90 degree day.
So ultimate question, will the shoulder stay hot that long in the cooler?

My guess would be yes due to the mass of pork you are holding. If you are able to you can hold it in a 170* oven also.

+1 with Brownie here. You should be just fine. Enjoy the eats.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.
