Dizzy Fajita-ish Rub

I orderd the new Bombay Curry-ish and fajita-ish from DP and they arrived today. We did a chicken fajita salad with cubed chicken breast seasoned with the fajita-ish rub. We had to do it inside becuase we have a pork butt on the egg at the moment. It was really good. I would say not crazy unique like some of the others but we all loved it. My kids had tacos and we had salads and we all really liked it. Definitely worth a try. A little goes a long way too. We did 3 large chicken breasts and they were fully coated with the rub still almost all the way to the top of the bottle. They were loaded with flavor too..
Centex says give it a try if you are in to that kind of thing

Cen-Tex, Would you say that the fajita-ish could take the place of a homemade taco seasoning? I normally do my own spices for tacos and assuming you do (did) as well since the ready made are normally not so great and mostly salt. I have a couple samples and judging by the quality of there rubs I hoped to have a quick go to

I also received my order of the two new 'ish' products. These are definitely going to find a way into some more complex dishes I think. They are not a straight up rub by design. I could see using the Fajita-ish in Chili this fall, and I am going to definitely have to look into some recipes for chicken prepared in various Indian styles to see how Bombay-ish might fit in. On their own as a seasoning for grilled chicken, I found them to be quite mild.

I thought the Fajita-ish had a great flavor when sautéed tonight. as for the bombay- if you like indian flavors, try this: http://bbq.about.com/od/pulledporkrecipes/r/bl70726c.htm Lots of fun and very goodKeepin' It Weird in The ATX FBTX
