    Recipe for about 12 wings.
Salt and pepper wings and grill the, how you like.
1/2 cup lime juice - makes a huge difference if you do fresh squeezed.
1/4 cup tequila - don Julio or patron (yes I am a tequila snob)
     1 teaspoon lime zest
    1 teaspoon ground cumin
    1 tablespoon agave syrup
1 teaspoon adobe sauce (I buy the peppers in adobe sauce and just get out the sauce)
    1/2 tablespoon fresh crack pepper
    1/2 teaspoon salt
I put all ingredients in a gallon sized bag throw wings in and shake up. Transfer them to a bowl and pour a little sauce on them.
  • Have not done wings yet, this looks interesting!

Dang-reading that hurts-I would definitley find a lower end product for the recipe but to each his own...

  • @lousubap Trust me it doesnt set well till you eat them. But I wasn't going to drive to store buy cheap cooking tequila. I just used what I had. I did use only silver or blanco and leave the anejo for sipping =).

blanco ought to do it. Just like dizzy pig, anything with tequila ought to be awesome. >:D<

Seriously, will hve to give this one a try. I might add some ground up fresh serrano to the mix for some heat. Hmmm...

  • @aviator I use a little more adobe sauce & some sriracha sauce for added heat as well. Also some crushed red pepper sometimes.

Ty, Deacon. Adobo with fresh serrano pulverized as a marinade for skirt steak is one of our favs.

Will try the above as well.
