Lump Charcoal

Have been using BGE lump charcoal...are than other charcoals that work just as well?

    Evidently Royal Oak (RO) makes BGE lump. Try the red bag at Wally World, make sure it says made in USA, there are some from "offshore". 
    In Canada, we have RO in blue bag, called Star Grill. It is probably the same as the US red bag, but I think it is different - seems to have some smaller pieces. 

    Try whatever you see and if it is not to your liking, move on.

  • I have heard great things about royal oak and dragons breath... However, I can find a supplier of dragons breath locally :(
