Temperature control

I'm doing my first pulled pork butt and can't get the temp below 300 with both the adjusts almost closed. Looking for about 275, any suggestions?

    Look for vent settings thread started by grandpa grub.. it should be on page 1-3. It has a visual guide.

    It will drop but it takes time. You can speed it up by putting the ribs on
