BGE = Peaceful evenings

It is 10:30pm. I'm sitting on my deck looking at the crystal clear summertime night sky.

I've just finished putting a pair of Boson Butts on my BGE, and opted to sit outside for a bit.

In doing so, I've realized that since getting my BGE this spring I have found my time with the Egg to be extremely peaceful. The combination of the outdoor setting, the gentle wafting smoke, and the tantalizing aroma of slowly cooking food simply puts my mind at ease.

This is an unforeseen benefit of the Egg, and one I am enjoying immensely.

    That is exactly what I miss by doing the Turbo butt! Something about the low and slow process that I love.

    Same here, even though I know I don't have to watch it like I did my previous bullet smoker, I just love to sit out there with it while it does its thing.

    I enjoy it immensely, but really enjoy Bbqing for a crowd as well. Both are equally relaxing, albeit in a different way.
