Rainy days in Florida can't stop the power of the egg!

Made a little mod for the torrential downpours we've been having in Central Florida recently. Cost me... nothing. Coat hanger and tinfoil and not a drop of rain on the fire or food while cooking. Works with the Daisy Wheel cap too.
Made my favorite hot wings. Cooked, sauced, then back on the grill along with some paprika/sea salt/ cracked pepper/buttered corn on the cob. Side of bleu cheese and a beer too...
My favorite!

Yea, if one more person says the rain is "good for the grass" or "we need it" one more time I'm gonna explode! This is supposed to be the SUNSHINE stateLBGE, Weber OTG w/ Rotisserie, Weber Genesis S-330, Chargriller Duo, AR-15, AK-47

@JerkChicken I love the rain cap for the BGE. I can't wait to make one for mine. That's great!Sarasota, FL via Boynton Beach, FL, via Sarasota, FL, via Charleston, SC, via The Outer Banks, via God's Country (East TN on Ft. Loudon Lake)

You'll wish it was raining this weekend when it hits 100 degrees. I finally got sick of cooking in the rain and moved the cook zone to a more covered part of the pool area.

Very creative solution and the wings look awesome. Can you send some of that rain back our way?

The 102 degree temps at 7:30pm in Northwestern Nebraska didn't stop this egger from cooking a little salmon. The Hot Wings look eggcellent Mr. JerkChicken!

This Debby thing has been blowing rain at us down here in So. Fla. for days now but we still managed to BGE up some kabobs, some grilled chicken, and some pizza this week, and right now we're trying to decide what to throw on it tonight!

I'd love to see a couple close ups of your coat hanger rig. I think I am going to need to make one myself this weekend.

Pretty simple, just shape the two ends of the hanger into two hoops. Then mold some foil over the "top".Had I spent more than 60 seconds on it, it'd be a little prettierLBGE, Weber OTG w/ Rotisserie, Weber Genesis S-330, Chargriller Duo, AR-15, AK-47 -
Looks good. Thanks!

You have a very marketable idea there. Replace the foil with sheet metal and custom paint..........$50.00 each. NICE job.Owner of LBGE, Antique Komodo Green in Color. Proud Career Firefighter. Johns Creek / South Forsyth GA
