Well I like roasted asparagus, and everyone else here likes sauteed. I wanted to keep some heat out of the house, so I sauteed on the egg in cast iron.
Got my fire going good with the CI grate in there for steaks after.
Put the cast iron pan in, and I think I should have let it get hotter before adding my EVOO, and I should have added less.
Once the oil got hot, I added garlic, let it cook then added the cut asparagus that was seasoned with just S&P.
All in all The Mrs said it came out perfect.
my son said he wanted more steak.
