Temperature gauge question

I ran a test on my temp gauge and found it was off. I used the method of the boiling water to test it and used my digital thermometer to double check. Made my adjustment and now I can tell it is reading over what it should. Just wondering what everyone's gauge reads to rest( when not hot). Any tricks I need to know about? Help needed. Thanks

My guage bottoms out at the end of the F reading. 150 degrees.  That may be close to the actual temp.  It's 92 degrees out, under a black cover, and in a big green dome.
