Fabulous Pizza

The top pizza has fresh mozzarella, sweet italian sausage, sauteed mushrooms, carmelized onion, fontina cheese, peppadew and home made sauce. The bottom pizza has grilled home made meatballs, carmelized onion, peppadews, homemade sauce and fresh mozzarella.

    @ BGE Convert. Here is my sauce recipe.
    Ingredient's
    1 - 28 oz can San Marzano whole tomatos squished with your hands to break them up
    4 cloves minced garlic
    1 - 15 oz can tomato sauce
    2 small cans tomato paste
    1 pkg of basil - chopped
    1 - 28 oz can of water
    1/2 - 15 oz can of water
    1/2 - 3/4 cup of grated parmesan cheese
    1/4 - 1/2 tsp ItalianSeasoning
    Honey - about 1/4 cup or more according to taste
    Salt and pepper to taste
    Directions
    Mix all ingredients in a dutch oven. Simmer uncovered on low for approximately 2 - 3 hours until it reduces and thickens.
    If serving with meatballs, cook meatballs according to the recipe and add the meatballs while the sauce is simmering.

    I use this recipe for a red sauce for pasta and for pizza.
