I have had my egg for about two weeks now I have done a pork butt and some burgers. I did my first pizza and burnt my gasket. The pizza came out great  this was the first time I tried a pizza. It was a simple one. I got the BGE up to 550 checked the pizza stone it was at 500. Plate setter with legs down and the pizza stone on the feet. I am amazed with my BGE. I do have one question how does the plate setter go legs up are down for pizza are does it matter? Sunday I will be doing some turbo ribs and some trex steaks.

Great job on the pizza. Too late now but platesetter legs up, grid and stone is easier on the gasket.

You aren't a true egger till you fry and replace a gasket. Welcome to the club
