Fat infused pork chops

My butcher had these fat infused pork chops yesterday - the marbling was incredible.  I cooked them tonight with a little cluck and squeal on the grill.  Just fantastic.  Also, had some different sausage from a different butcher; chicken lamb, curry etc... Great as well, very satisfied.  Pork was cooked perfectly.

Help me understand fat infused pork chops better.  They inject the pork chops with lard?  How does that affect the end results?  I, the carnivore, am intrigued.  My wife, the nurse practitioner, would be appalled.

No, just how the pork is raised to make it have more marbling.  More the diet, feed it things that make it a fatty pig.  He called it fat infused - you should see the raw pork chop.

lol.  When I raised hogs, it didn't take much to get fatty pigs.
