    Roseydave, I definitely had grate upside down. I can't wait to try it tonight. This is first chance to grill since I posted question, so I am anxious to try all my new tips. Thanks for everyone's input.

    BTW, [No need to overfill, but he was underfilled] "he" is a she, but I probably was underfilled quite a bit.  Thanks again for tips. Should  assume there aren't many females on this forum?

    Welcome,I know of one other female on here.I fill my XL everytime I cook.Just a good habit and shut it down right after the meal comes off.
