Does anyone add beef broth or a coke to the foil when pulling a BB off the Egg? Mine is sitting at 193 and going on 17 hours. Almost there! Thanks.

I do not because I like the bark as crispy as possible. The meat will be plenty moist.Columbia, SC --- LBGE 2011 -- MINI BGE 2013

Never heard of doing that...doesn't mean it hasn't been done. I have always pulled at 295* to 200* internal and the butt was plenty moist. Placed in double wrapped HD foil, towels and in a cooler for up to 4 hrs.BobAlex City AlOpelika, Alabama

Coke, or root beer, do wonders on a ham, but have not heard of it on a butt.Maybe cut it in half, wrap one half plain and one with coke, and let us know? (I love experimenting like that)_____________
