Refractory cement for cracked firebox?

OLD NORTH STATE BBQ CO.
edited December 2011 in Off Topic

Does anyone have any experience using this stuff.  My firebox cracked in two, horizontally through the holes.  I cracked it by rolling it on uneven ground so a replacement is not covered under the warranty.  The break was clean so the firebox is still fully functional, but I'd like to repair it if possible.  Is refactory cement safe to use regarding food consumption in a BGE?  Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
